Cámara: (granary) this word describes a very important part of country houses, normally found in the upper part of the house. A single unit or more, given different uses, grain was stored in it, as well as straw, food and tools; it also served as a bedroom if there were none. In this particular case, the ‘granary’ of old would correspond to what today is three of our apartments, the Cámara apartment, together with the ‘atroe’, and the ‘salting room’ apartment, El Saladero. Grain was kept in these places, as well as straw and food and in which Grandma Maria gave birth to her children as well as serving as a bedroom for some members of the family.

The ‘Cámara’ apartment comprises a lounge-diner, with wood-burning stove, separate kitchen, with all equipment supplied, bathroom with shower, towels supplied, bedroom with double bed, linen supplied, and fitted wardrobe. There is a terrace with views to the threshing-floor, the swimming-pool and the mountains surrounding our accommodation, providing an exceptional place from which to enjoy your surroundings.
